water pressure gauge doesn't work on my 115 yamaha 4 stroke

I have a 2004 yamaha 4 stroke and the water pressure gauge stopped working. There is no water coming from the fitting were the gauge connects to the engine so there must be a blockage. can I use a flush to clean it or can I push air in to un block . the gauge works ok

poking a small wire up in there might help, or use compressed air to blow into it.


If that does not help you will need to take things apart to clean it out

Don't let air pressure or water pressure get to the gauge or it will break it.Clean down stream.
These plug up alot. There is a very small hole on the leading edge of the lower unit is usually where the plug is, or further up the tube.
