I need to replace the o-rings in the trim unit due to leakage. I have removed the unit from the engine and was able to remove the cylinder end cap but the piston will not pull out?

Does the piston top need to be unscrewed before it can be removed from the cylinder or do I need to use more force to remove the piston/rod?

Thanks....

Transmission fluid was leaking out the trim ram cylinder.
If theirs no pressure on the ram you need to pull harder Barry.
Always put 30 weight on Orings before you install nothing less than 30 weight so you dont damage or nick the Orings

Where do you read this stuff, Mr. Tom?

Barry - I can't help you with removing the piston, but I'll admit it.
