Suzuki 25hp outboard 2015 high rpm at idle.

On my 2015 25 hp, SOMETIMES, it starts at high rpm. Also, SOMETIMES, after having it running (coming back from a trip), it remains on higher RPM at idle. I noticed one thing though: Before I start it, if I turn the handle (I have tiller) as if I am revving the engine a couple of times and then I start it, it then starts at normal RPM. Any idea what to look for?

Any idea how to remedy that? Maybe grease the linkage?

need to look and see what is causing/keeping the throttle plates from closing back as they should if that is the problem

Maybe check the tiller handle friction screw....or that throttle cable...

That is a high tech EFI engine and it could be something in the engine control system. Since it's still under warranty, why not bring it into your selling sealer?

dang it helps to know what these motors are I guess
