been having issues getting the carb on my 9.9 to run properly. what does it mean when you have to use to choke to start the cold motor but then having to turn it off immediately before it stalls? I think i got the mixture setting correct with it being a quarter turn richer from 1.5 turns out. tonight it seemed to be running fine at maybe 3/4 throttle, and then every now and then, it felt like it lost power and was not accelerating past a certain point. any ideas?

Your supposed to choke your motor the first time you start the motor everyday. And slowly push the choke in as the motor warms up.
The motor should run at 1.5 turns out, it ran before you turned a quarter turn richer.
You should remove the carb, and remove, clean, every little part. If you wreck a gasket or part get a rebuild kit.
Change the fuel filters too.
