Got the carb today and the main jet is 125...the parts diagram from browns point marine says I need a 100. They did not send me any other jets like I asked and promised in the ad. is the 15 hp carb exactly the same with the exception of jet sizes? curious why it says the 9.9 would need a 75-85 when the parts diagram says 100...only spare jet I had around close to 100 was a 118....could I make the carb run correct with the 118?

Did you contact them so they could send you the correct jet?

The carb would typically be larger on the 15, so the jetting could possibly be different. The parts diagram wouldn't show the jetting for a non-stock carb.

If it needs a 100 or smaller, then while it may run with a 118, it wouldn't run well.
