2001 Yamaha F100x and my trim "sometimes" won't trim while under a load

i have a question that know body has been able to answer for 3 years and i'm now fed up being i want to take it to the keys this winter.
i have a 2001 Yamaha F100x and my trim "sometimes" won't trim while under a load. EVERYTHING works fine all other times in and out of the water but now and then it won't trim while under a load/launching. the problem is is the sometimes. it's been doing it the past 3 years now and then but 70% of the time this year. somebody somewhere out there has had to have had this problem, i just have to find him.

needs to be tested when it will not move.
can you hear the T&T motor running when it will not trim?
if not the TRIM RELAY MAY NOT BE MAKING GOOD CONTACT FOR + OR -
