I just purchased a pair of 2011 df 300 suzuki installed them all working fine BUT the instruments (3 smis gauges ) do not comunicate with the motors
I can turn the motor on rev them up put them in forward or reverce trim ect. but the instruments do not come to life
the gauges are conected to the smis dual engine adapter and it has juce. the gauges are conected to the backbone as are the engine interface cables all seem to be conected correctly
I can power up the gauges by conecting power to the back bone. they turn on but they do not comunicate with the engines no volt readaut or rpm at 0
any ideas where to look for to fix problem.
