it has 1 charge coil and 2 lighting coils.
Im throwing another definetly known working cdi box on it tomorrow and will update when i do

t I was just ohms testing my charge coils on my stator,

Just was wondering what you meant by coils, sounded like more than one

Tried another known working cdi today and now she is getting proper spark with my spark tester and timing light is super bright.
Now it looks like carbs are blocked again some how.
It starts up in fast idle mode for around 10 seconds then rpm drops to normal idle and she lean sneezes and dies!!!
Carb clean again WTF

conclusion!!!! Engine is running!!!!!!! For anyone with the reostat timing sensor on your CDI you can adjust it out of spec as long as you can still achieve correct timing!!! I think the contact in the reostat can wear slightly around where the idle timing should be set and it retards the idle timing slightly.
I have adjusted my linkage arm to the sensor and am getting the correct idle timing and wot timing.Shes running nice
