What model / year. id plate corroded and have black / white round sticker number

Hi all.
Im in Australia and purchased a boat with a 150hp saltwater series 2 motor on it.
I need to replace a few bits and cant find what the model / year is.

The id plate has corroded and come off and did some research about the round black sticker with the white line through it, I found it and hoping someone can tell me more information with it.

The sticker says 501415

Take a look at the CDI for any markings. What do you see? Also, inspect the carburetors for any markings. If there are no carburetors is it an EFI model.

what do you mean by markings, it has carbies too so its not EFI

I would think he means letters/numbers

Markings as in letters, numbers, characters, scratches, etc. Whatever you can see on either the carburetors or the CDI. CDI as being the brain of the motor.
