T8 cannot remove upper carrier bearing housing ? nothing in google!

so i went to pop the housing up to change seals and it snapped off like butter. how do i remove the lower half still inside to replace?

Hey Erude73... I literally just had the same thing happen to me. Snapped right in the same spot yours did all around the bearing. What have you come up with for a solution for this problem? I have no idea how to get this housing out and I can't find anything online as well.

drill small holes and thread them, run screws into them, use those screws to pull on

you have to remove lower carrier plug, shaft, then take off the pinion nut and it all comes out. requires total strip down. new housing come with a bearing so no need to order one.
