Yamaha F90 Electrical Problem

I have a Yahama F90TLR purchased in 2007. The pilot tube stopped peeing so I had the water pump replaced. It still did not pee. However the engine did not overheat. Thinking there was something in the pilot hose, I tried to remove it with a small tube. there was something hard in the hose, but it did not move. Now I can not start the engine or tilt it. When I try either of those, there is a click and then nothing. It acts like a circuit breaker and it resets after a brief time. Does anybody know what is happening to my engine?

Sounds like a loose or corroded wire or connection.
