Oh, right, was in a hurry and meant no spark on common 2 stroke Suzuki that are all similar. Anyway, figured it out. The kill switch is in working order but I believe because of neglect and no maintenance oil and gas - had got into the kill switch connections. It started with the connections taken apart and the red light fired along with the spark. Later because I did not want the hassle of ordering and replacing kill switch, I just re-connected the wire connections and that was it. Seems a number of motors have similar problems, so always check this out before going overboard and trying to diagnose problems that do not exist.
