electrical.. 1998 yamaha 150 ob

I have power to my ptt and running lights. my battery is fully charged. when I turn my key to start motor,nothing happens no power at all. the gauges don't work. checked the fuse on the starter,its good not blown. I haven't added anything or changed any electrical. what do I check and how. is it the key switch? relay?

Start with battery connections, clean them, work your way up each connection.

I check my connections there is no crud. everything is tight clean. I thought if it was my battery connections I would have thought my PTT would not work either. I have power to everything except from the key and gauges and the motor.

there has to be a connection or fuse bad that is not letting the red wire to key get power or the switch is bad.
use a voltmeter to see if you have 12+ to the key
