To make a long story short after a lot of trial and error and replacing parts engine was torn down and found all gaskets had deteriorated and had to be replaced.
this is a twin engine boat and mechanic estimates it will cost about 2000.00 to breakdown other motor down and install new Gaskets? Does this seem reasonable? Water pump and impeller have already been done. Also has anyone ever heard of this problem with these 1994 Motors. Are these reliable Motors? aprox. 1000 hours fresh water use. Thanks
