I was shopping around for a new fully assembled cylinder head for my Suzuki Df 40. As I began search for the correct part number. I happened to come upon a b oa NOS cylinder head with the following part number 12000-87830 S. The guy selling it told me that the cylinder head was for the DF40. I did some research and it appears that that part number maybe for the DF 50 and the correct DF40 part number is 12000-87821 S. But after looking at the Parts list that that comprise the head assembly of both of these head assemblies it looks like they contain the identical parts. Is this possible? Can somebody explain the difference between the the two? or are they same?

If both 40 & 50 happens to be exact same CC and if thermo has same sitting postion for both cylinder heads, should match.

The engines use different camshafts, so the complete head assemblies are different. The 12000-87821 is correct for the DF40 engine.
