depends on what motor
4 stroke leaking oil might mean it runs out of oil.
2 stroke means you have oil being added all of the time

Maybe you're referring to the propeller shaft where the exhaust from the 2 stroke motor causes some dark colored oil in the propeller?....probably no problem...

Most of the time it is unburned fuel and oil that drips out after running, with lots of old carbon with it.

means the cylinders are not burning all of the fuel or the lower seal is leaking.

but there should not be much puddled oil/fuel sitting on that seal anyway.
might check the re circulation check valves to make sure they are functioning properly.
they are suppose to pull that up and get it out of the crankcase

Your motor is different than my C40TLRX as far as check valves go.
Mine were pressed into the side of crankcase with tubing attached along the outside
I did not see the same ones I have on the 115 . Maybe I was looking at the wrong parts diagram

on mine I used a syringe and small tubing to see if they would allow flow in only one direction.
found 3 of the 4 bad on mine.
Would not check in either direction.
replaces all 4 while I had it apart
