Hi guy's.
I recently bought an used yamaha v4 115 hp
I think is year 2000.
that was sitting in a while
The first I due is clean the carb. The motor run good only the problem is the cold start when in not use for couple days very hard to start need to use starter fluid .
after the cold start is very reliable start easy every time. My question is the air screw adjust is to adjust the fuel flow or is like name say to adjust the air only.
Because with my old mercury when i had problem with cold start only turn the mixture screw counterclockwise and run litthe rich but avoid the cold start problem is the same with yamaha ?? Thank in advance

what is it called in the parts list?
it would not hurt to try turning it one way and the other to see if it helps.

I would go CC first
