I am replacing 1997 Yamaha 200 HP Saltwater Series motors with 2003 Yamaha HPDI 200 HP motors. It looks like everything will bolt right up and all wiring is the same. Am I missing something here? Is it that easy?
One thing I see definitely different is that the 2003 had an oil pressure gauge and a small hose to it. I may just plug that on the motor if I can.
Any advice on this swap for rigging?
