Hi all,
I just bought a Carolina Skiff with a Suzuki DF70 engine. From the serial number, the engine looks like a 2001. the previous owner said the shop said that the high pressure fuel pump needs to be replaced. The fuel line was cut and there seems to be no fuel in the system. The boat sat for a while after the shop's diagnose. I was getting ready to replace, but thought I should check the voltage to the pump. I read that you should get battery voltage for about 3 seconds after the key is turn on. I never measured any voltage to the disconnected connector to pump. I read there is a 15A fuse to the pump. I can not locate the fuse. I did found the 30A main fuse. Does anyone have any info on this issue?
