I am in need of a solution to help support my engine whilst I install a -sandwich style- Minn-kota Talon shallow water anchor.
This bracket sandwiches between the transom and the engine bracket.
I am planning on loosening up the bolts, not removing all of them at the same time but enough to move the engine back away from the transom about .75"
so I can insert the bracket in between the transom and the engine bracket, reinsert the removed bolts and them proceed to the other side to do the samething
with installing the required shim.
I couldn't see any lift points on this engine.
Any ideas on how to use a cherry picker to help support the engine during the install?
Thanks.
