yamaha 175 tilt indicator

have a 2004 yamaha 175 2 cycle when the motor is tilted all the way to the bottom the indicater is at 3 and not at o is this normal or does it need to be recalculated?

You could get a factory service manual and try to adjust it.
As the quote goes " if it ain't broke don't fix it"
We have a Force 125hp with T&T leakdown, it works fine but the motor comes down slowly after we tilt it up ,, it's to risky to try and fix it in the middle of boating season, before it breaks.
