1999 Yamaha OX66 Saltwater Series 225hp head and cover head gasket

The head gasket has a white silicone looking line on one side only, which way does the white line face, to the engine block or the head? The metal ban around the cylinder opening is wider and flat compared to the side with the white line.

The head cover gasket also has the same white lines around the spark plug holes, which way do they face, to the head or the head cover?

IDK, some thoughts, doe's the head gasket fit on both sides?
Does it say on the HG which way it goes ?
Can you tell from the old head gasket, how the new HG fits.
Have you ever torqued down a head before? If not the factory service manual explains it perfectly.
Start on bolt # 1 three different torque settings, re-torque after 20 hours of motor use.
