I've been offered a boat and trailer with a '85 115 motor for $250. Not sure if it runs, but turns over freely, has a ss prop and in decent cond cosmetically . What should the compression be, decent motors, any major issues? Where these v-4 motors gas hogs? I have a '91 mercury 75 hp now on my main boat how do you think it would compare to it on fuel, power , ect? Thanks
