I think I've exhausted the search on this forum, and still have a problem getting my starboard oil pump to transfer to the motor.

Because I have two outboards, I been swapping out parts to verify, and I have the flow chart from the service manual.

1995 Yamaha Salt Water Series 130hp, L130TRT

Oil pump tests OK. when swapped with the other one. All oil lines purged.

Here's the flow chart:
Green light on
Emergency switch doesn't operate pump
Grounding Blue Wire at remote does not operate pump
No power at brown wire at PBS control unit
Power at yellow wire at connection to PBS control unit...yes.

The last step in the flow chart is to replace the PBS control unit, but when I swapped out the PBS unit from the working motor, it still didn't work.

Suggestions?

what are you calling PBS?

Does the oil pump in remote tank have 12 V + to it at key on?
It should.

You do know in those years the oiling was wired to the tilt sensor to cut power when the engine was tilted up. Bad sensor will do the same.
