I am getting an alarm above idle, starts around 1500 RPM in gear or in neutral. I believe it is an overheat alarm as it is a steady alarm, but I haven't gotten the diagnostics on it yet to determine which alarm it is, figured I would try this first.

I recently changed the impeller (entire kit) and housing, along with T-Stat. Tell-Tale is strong (or at least looks strong)

I ran it WOT the night before for 30 minutes with no issues. Took it out of the water on trailer and then next day it happened right after I left the dock. Engine goes into protect mode.

I checked the PCV at it looks a little corroded, along with scale inside the housing. Could this be a combination of PCV (spring, gasket is almost completely gone, grommet) and scale inside the block (I was going to flush it out with water and vinegar).

Thanks
