I have installed a second battery on my Carolina Skiff with a 150 Suzuki 4 stroke. On battery #1 the motor will fire up but according to boats gauge the output is barely or not charging at all (according to the gauge a little less than 12 volts). On battery #2, motor fires up and is charging a little less that 14 volts. What have I done wrong? Thanks for anyone's help.

We have no idea how you have the switch wired to the batteries and the engine. Need more information.

I believe that Captbuck has a batt 1, both, or batt 2 swich and the sub battery cable from the engine needs to have a mod to do that. I`m not sure of that mod but I`d like to hear myself.
