prop spins free

This concerns my suzuki 140 4 stroke, yesterday I was running at about 4500 rpms after not running for approximately 6 weeks, when the prop seemed to just spin free and i was at a total loss of propulsion. the motor was able to run but i was dead in the water. Does this sound like a spun prop or something worse?

With the motor off, put it in gear and see if the prop spins on the hub...Also make sure its shifting into gear.Could be as easy as a shift cable or the linkage

yes it sounds like a spun hub.
Mark the hub and prop and try it, see if makes move.

All of the hubs I have seen spun you could not move it by hand
