98 DT140 intermittently starting

Ok sorry bout my first post not my best work. My motor starts up great when it starts. My problem is sometimes I have to turn the key 20 times to get it to turn over. Wiring seems good starter seems good changed soliniod checked neutral safty switch good. I do have a new key switch coming. Is there anything else I should check or do...thankyou

Check/clean/grease/tighten all battery cable connections....sometimes corrosion can hide out under those terminals and connections....

Make sure the shifter is adjusted correctly if it has the remote box,could be out of adjustment and not starting and thinking it's in gear.
