1999 3.0L Engine Block

Hey guys,

Did GM put any 3.0L 4 cylinder engines in any of their cars or trucks, or are they strictly for a marine application? Got a boating buddy with a cracked block, and he needs to replace it.

Nope,...... Nota one,.... The last compatible automotive block was the 2.5l Chevy II, back in '64, or '65,..... Loonnngggg since scrapped,....

It's a GM Industrial motor,....

That's what I thought... I guess his only option is a new or rebuilt longblock.
