Troubleshooting a 96 5.8 volvo penta. suspect owner put batts in with cables crossed. He tripped all the big amp breakers at engine. I tested for power at the coil. Purple ignition wire has power to coil. Where can I go from here? Does the 5.8 need to sence ignition for fuel pump to run??
