Hi everyone, I'm new here. I just bought a boat so I can my grandson fishing. Here's all the info I have on the boat. 1992 Future Craft 240 24ft. ENGINE: 431B/PS. Transom Assembly: Shield Engine 4101506591 / 104114011. Drive Unit: DP-C 872206. Now my problem. The outdrive is in the up position, I get no movement or sound when I move the Tilt Switch. I hear the hydraulic pump with the Trim down only, but nothing moves.

Clean the switch, WD-40 or any oil spray.
Then the connections at the pump.

Thanks for the reply. I cleaned both switches, checked them with ohm meter, says OK. Started raining will have to finish later. Question: That little oil pump that runs when I hit the trim switch, is that also the tilt pump?

Update so far: I cleaned both switches, checked them with ohm meter, says OK. Cleaned both relays and wire plugs. Nothing has changed. Pump only runs on trim down and nothing moves.

Fixed. Bypassed 1st set of relays. Now it goes from switch to pump relays, nothing else in between.
