AQ 250 Fiber Washers

Can someone tell me where/how to buy a dozen or more of the fiber washers that are used at the dipstick and drain plugs on my Aquamatic 250? It looks like they're $3 apiece plus shipping on the sites I can find?

I feel your pain when it comes to prices on the little stuff. Especially when your particular outdrive uses the gaskets instead of more common o-rings.You might find spares cheaper by trying a generic search using the part number. I try to make an order with a bunch of spares at one time to help with shipping. That way, I always have enough spare o-rings and gaskets to do the routine maintenance.

I found 10 for under $4 in this assortment from Harbor Fright.

There are some of these outdrives that use a fiber washer instead of an o-ring. He has one with the fiber washer and o-rings don't seal..if you look at some of the diagrams, they list both the washers and o-rings. can be pretty frustrating!
