Hi looking to replace my tilt/trim pump. Its off a 1993 Volvo 4.3 (430b) with an SP-C leg. The number on my pump is: 854437 and no aftermarket companies make them since volvo quit making this number. Can someone give me a part number to another pump that will work? Thanks.

depending on what is wrong, you could take it to a hydraulic shop and have it repaired.

Is it the trim pump or the electric motor that's bad?
Arco out of Florida sells a bunch of replacement electric motors.
Look around on the net. I've seen them from 125$ and up.

I think just the electric pump is bad. That's all I need without the res or anything. But it looks like I'll have to buy the entire assembly.

You can buy a Merc pump and it'll work. They all work the same. It helps if you're decent with electrical though.

Whats the difference just the wiring connectors?

Would something like this work? It says its for an SX drive but it looks identical and has the same wiring connector
