You will need something to press the bearing cups out of the yoke. A large c-clamp can do the job, but a press is better.

You'll need:
Vice, and lots of hand tools, maybe a torch and a bearing press.
If you buy a press? Get a good one.
The yoke that comes out of the upper housing. Is it rusted along with the u-joints?
The seal that the yoke rides on will go once you start messing with it.
The rust/ corrosion will make it leak.
Volvo sells the complete u-joint assy.$586
The u-joint is $186(that hurts) you can find aftermarket.
The seal is not included..

Do I need a rolling torque wrench for the carrier bearing after I take it off or just a regular torque wrench ? Thank you!

I tried to send you a PM but the site says I have too many messages or some such crap.
Over on marine engine . com the Volvo Forum
There is a guy called Rick he's real good on the Volvo drives.
He's the one to ask.
I'm not sure but I think you'll need to re-shim and do a rolling torque to reassemble the yoke.
