newbie in need of help

First off hi y'all I'm new to your forums secondly I need input didn't know where to look but here we go I have a volvo penta aq260d outdrive and the suspension fork broke I need to know how big of a job this is and how to go about it this is my first boat and never worked on one had it three months

its kind of a big job for a DIYer but certainly doable. How'd ya break it?

You need to get a manual.
The job isn't too bad if you can use a wrench.
Make sure you replace the seals and bushings on the yoke.
I helps if you have a small bottle jack to push the yoke in place while you tighten the inside.

Ok I'll grab a manual and getter done thanks for the input guys oh and how it broke is the mechanical tilt was not going down all the way to latch the outdrive in down position put it in reverse outdrive flopped up and came down against tilt rod and snap sad musky fishing trip
