SX-ALT 42 Lower Unit Drain Plug Hole Stripped

New member here. I was changing the lower drive gear lube and stripped the female threads inside the drain hole. Plug itself looks OK. Anybody have a fix?

Might try a 3/8 x 16 NC tap.Thats the merc size.
