I am having a problem locating the anodes on my drive. The drive is a DP-SM 3868912 the other # is 4202149688. Boat is a 2006 Monterey 270.
In the "kits" they come with two anodes. One is the outdrive transom plate which is half round shaped and is correct but the other they call the gimbal plate anode which I dont have. In that location however I do see that in the same location there looks to be two anodes that probably were never replaced and almost completely gone probably because the marina didnt know how to get them. Any way, each one is held in by 2 hex cap screws and against the Volvo corrosion resistance system.
Anybody know what these zincs are? I found similar looking ones online but they say they are for a different drive.
