Hi all, I have a Volvo 280 outdrive and have just spent a heap of $ on it getting it all ok after previous owner showed no care for it. Its now running fine.
I have the opportunity to purchase another 280 out drive to have as a spare for future dramas at a good price.
Question is -It has been advertised as a 280 out drive but with a 270T gearbox.(lower or upper-not specified)- ratio- 1.89
Is this possible to have 270T gearbox or fittings in 280 drive? and what disadvantages or advantages might this have?
