Hello, and thanks for reading!
I picked up a 2001 Stingray with a blown head gasket. Pressure checked it and torque checked all the head bolts on the way off.
It was the second blown HG this thing has had. But I think Ive got it figured out.

All I need are the specs for torquing down the head bolts, and if the manifold or any other part needs a specific torque.

I know its three stages:
I think the first stage 15ftlbs working out from center, then 30 ftlbs same order then 60 ftlbs.... Is this right?

Here are more specifics:
2001 Stingray 180LS, Vovo Penta 3.0GSP-A with a Volvo outdrive, XS I think.

And the ft Lbs i have above are way off. Just thinking about it, I can remember torquing my jeep head bolts down to around 100 ft lbs.

Thanks to anyone who can help me!

Ayuh,.... I ain't got a book handy, but most Chevy head torques are 'round 60 to 75ft.lbs,...

100 ft.lbs sounds Waayyy to high,...

In Don'S Adults Only section there links to many Manuals,...

Any 3.0l manual will verify what ya need to know,... ain't gotta be Volvo,...
