I've got a 98 Volvo Penta control box and the button to put it in neutral and just control the throttle sticks. Sometimes I can get it in Neutral and just control the throttle, sometimes it won't engage in drive unless I hit the control box on the side, and other times I can't get it in neutral and just control the throttle. I've had the boat for 2 years so I don't know what has been done to it. I'm guessing the box needs to be rebuilt, but I'm not 100% sure. I'd like to have the parts on hand if possible before I tear into it. Any ideas on how to fix it and where i can get the parts as I've only seen full control boxes.
