I have a 2004 Osprey with a 5.0 OSI/ef VP engine and a VP dou prop outdrive. Every time I run the boat, the fluid inthe reservoir for the outdrive drops down approximate 1/2 inch. I have had the upper(U joint and yoke) as well as the lower (prop) seals replaced. The unit has been pressure tested twice and holds a steady pressure( 20 PSI). After running, I notice a sligh sheen on the water which disappears after the engine is shut off There has never been any oil in the fluid, oil in the bilge or in the bellows. It seems the leak only occurs when the outdrive is in gear. Any suggestions as where the leak is occurring?

Did you pressure test without any oil in the drive? Did you use soap or soppy water to go over the drive during the test?

Yes -to both. What I didn't do was to rotate the prop shaft while testing the pressure- this may be the next step
