I have a 96 volvo sx ct-1 1.97 ratio. I beleive the cone clutch is slipping what i would like to know is can i remove the clutch by taking off the top bearing cover and remooving gear and the clutch and just simply replace and reinstall gear with shims and bearing. or does drive have to be removed from boat and input gear removed first? any speciasl tools required or do the parts simply pull off the verical shaft by hand? thanks to anyone who can guide me a little as the manuals i have dont really answer this question
