volvo 4.3 sx outdrive shutter location

does anyone know exactly where the shutters are located on a 2001 glastron, with a 4.3l volvo sx?

If your asking for the location of the exhaust flaps, they are about 2 to 3 inches below the top of the Y-pipe.



Not the best picture, but hope it helps. FYI, from what I have gathered they are no longer needed.

Need to know the full model number or serial number of your engine. a 2001 boat doesn't necessarily have a 2001 engine. You may not have shutters as Volvo quit using them in the late 90's ('99 I believe).

You don't have an exhaust shutter. Volvo stopped using them in 99. Have a look at this service bulletin.
