1996 7.4L Battery cable question

Repowering a 1996 26' Larson Cabrio that had a 1996 7.4L Volvo Penta DUO-Prop package with a 1998 7.4 Bravo 3 package.
My question is that there was 2 positive battery cables run to the rear of each side of the motor. I didnt see the engine come out so I dont know what the second battery cable is for. I know one goes to the starter but the other one I have no idea... Doe it go to the power trim system? I heard the solenoids are mounted on the engine???
