COUPLER needed. I am mating up my 3.0l merc to my 97 Cobra SX leg and having trouble locating the correct coupler and part # (stud and nut PN would be great too). The merc engine has a 12 3/4" flywheel.
It appears that the triangle merc coupler will mate to the Cobra sx spline. There's no play on the coupler and although I havent measued how far the spline goes into the coupler looks to be at least 2/3's of the way. Are these parts compatible?
Already ordered a VP coupler that doesnt fit...Seem to be getting conflicting PN's from suppliers
