Considering this boat, but noted in the pix an apparent "gouge" in the lower "fin" (yeah I'm a rookie). and was wondering if this is just pitting or damaged? and if so, can it be repaired?
was probably damaged when a lot or something got stuck between the SS prop and the aluminum fin. The weaker material lost. They can be fixed, or you can just run it like that.
Thanks for the quick response! Makes sense, but it just appeard fairly round and not jagged. I'm picking the boat up this weekend so will let you know. Repairing; is there such a thing as a sleeve - or similar?
