Volvo 170 OMC

Looking at puchasing a boat (1974) with a 170 volvo OMC outdrive anyone have any information on this unit and it realiablity or problems. Are part available for these units. Thanks alm

You are looking at a boat that is stuck together with a lot of backyard enginering.<br />Volvo and OMC had absolutly nothing in common in 74. That combination is nothing more than a way to make the boat "Kinda" work. Usually so it can be sold to some unsuspecting buyer. Don't be that person.<br />RUN AWAY as quickly as possible. You don't need those kinds of problems.
