hi all just new at this . just brought 25 foot bertrum had dp-d1 leg witch is now u/s found 290 dp witch has an extention in it .It will sit 100 mm below where other would sit how much difference will this make to the boats performance.
It will slow the boat down a little because you have more drive in the water, you may not even notice it.
If you don't need the extension, take it out. Just use the studs, nuts, and bolts from the old drive.
