I had a strange experience the last few time I took my Larson out. I have a 5.0 VP and an SX outdrive. I noticed two trips ago that my steering got very hard to turn to the right all of a sudden, then went back to normal. It happened a few times. Then last weekend I went out again and I had the same problem, just worse. When I would idle up and put a load on it, it was VERY hard to turn mainly to the right, but sometimes to the left. If I let off the throttle a bit it would free up, then when throttle up it was tight again. At neutral it does not have this problem as well as low idle. I checked for any evidence of fluid leak, but nothing. Belt seems fine. Fluid was a little low, but not low enough to pull air, but filled it back up anyway. Any thoughts? I was wondering if something like gimble bearing or something having to do with the outdrive, since it only seems to do it with a load on it.
