I removed the raw water pump to check the impeller and noticed that the plastis tubes are not solidly attached to the pump. The seem to be loose. ( I can move them side to side by an eigth of an inch ) I ran the engine prior to removing the pump and there were no leaks from the hose attach points. . I'm troubleshooting an overheating problem and was wondering if it was possible that air could be getting into the pump because of this ?
